Welcome to Yale-NUS College Writers' Centre!


The Writers' Centre is open for Semester 2. 

Open Monday-Friday, 10am-6pm. Closed on public holidays. We will be open for this semester until May 4, 2018. Walk-ins are welcome when our tutors are available!

Please note the following consultation policies:


Booking an appointment:

1. All consultations are 45-minutes, starting on the hour.

2. Students and staff are limited to a maximum of two appointments per week.

3. If you cannot find a time that fits in your schedule, please click the clock icon next to the date to put yourself on our waiting list.

4. You can book an appointment up to 14 days in advance.

5. Curricular writing consultations will take priority over personal writing projects.  


Choosing a Consultant:

1. You can read more about each of our consultants on the Writers' Centre website.  

2. All of our consultants are equipped to provide general writing support. However, some consultants also have specialities in areas such as creative writing, science writing, Common Curriculum and speaking. You can select consultants with these specialities by using the drop down menu at the top of the appointment screen to show their available appointments. 

3. Students seeking capstone support should select a capstone specialist from the drop-down menu. The following tutors are available for capstone support: Laurel Fantauzzo, Carissa Foo, Judith Huang, Detmer Kremer and Lawrence Ypil.


Missed Appointments & Late Cancellations:

1. After 3 missed appointments, your ability to book appointments on MyWCOnline will blocked. In order to reinstate your privileges, please write to to meet someone from the Writers' Centre.

2. You can cancel up to 6 hours before your appointment. Appointments cancelled in the six hours before your appointment are considered “missed.” If you must cancel within the six hours before your appointment, please contact

3. If you are over 10 minutes late for your appointment and have not given the Writers’ Centre or your tutor prior notice, the tutor may mark your appointment as missed and move on to contact students on the waiting list.
